The Abc teams are intervening late this afternoon in via Consalvo, in the neighbourhood of Fuorigrotta, Napoli, where a sewer pipe collapsed. At the moment it is not yet possible to identify the causes that led to the collapse.
In the area of Via Consalvo it was necessary to interrupt the water supply which will be reactivated at the end of the safety operations. On site, together with the Abc teams, the Municipal Police officers intervened NapoliThe collapse occurred approximately 50 meters from the traffic light system downstream from Via Caravaggio.
The municipal police have ordered the closure to traffic of the stretch of road between via Caravaggio and via Bixio. Therefore, cars travelling uphill on via Consalvo are diverted onto via Bixio, while those arriving from Soccavo are directed towards via Terracina or via Caravaggio.
