In a day full of changes, US Salernitana 1919 officially announced the separation of coach Fabio Liverani and his staff. In a statement issued by the club, the club expressed gratitude for the work done by Liverani and wished him the best for the future of his professional career.
The club also announced the appointment of the new First Team coach: Stephen Colantuono. This is certainly not a new name for Granata fans, as Colantuono has already led the team during the 2017/18 season and in Serie A in the 2021/22 season and has 243 benches in the Italian top flight.
According to the club's statement, Colantuono will lead the team until the end of the current season. The club expressed its confidence in the new coach's maximum commitment and dedication, underlining the strong bond that ties him to Salerno and Salernitana. It wished Colantuono good work for the rest of the season.
