THE BOOK
March 19, 1994, the day Don Peppino Diana was killed in Casal di Principe, has become a symbolic date. That murder which occurred in a parish, where the sacredness of the place was profaned and where ecclesial authority was also called into question, marked a watershed between before and after. Anyone who thought that Don Peppe's death would stop a story that looked at the rebirth of a land soaked in blood was wrong. The book aims to make a contribution to reconstructing a religious narrative of a priest who consciously chose martyrdom. It will be the dialogue between mother, father and son, which will mark the times of the stories where the memories are told that have marked the history of a resistance against the Camorra which had many protagonists who animate the pages of this book.
