from the administration of the Municipality of Torre del Greco led by the mayor Luigi Mennella with the artistic direction of Gigi Di Luca which will be scheduled from 19 to 21 July in Torre del Greco after sixteen years of absence.
Ambrogio Sparagna, considered one of the most important interpreters of European popular music, will take to the stage set up in the spaces of the former southern Marzoli mills in via Calastro.
For the occasion, Sparagna will present, in a national premiere (free admission), “Corpo d'amore”, in which the musician proposes devotional songs and music from the popular tradition dedicated to Corpus Domini, combining the charm of some poetic passages proposed by the voice of Davide Rondoni with the wealth of pieces of great mystical intensity, including
including some lauds connected to the spiritual experience of Saint Philip Neri and the songs of Saint Alphonsus Maria dei Liguori, thus creating an original accompaniment with the instrumentalists of the Italian popular orchestra of the Parco della Musica auditorium, the vocal group Polifonia Aurunca directed by Anna Rita Colaianni and the choreographies of the modern dance company directed by Mvula Sungani.
