Attacked while stopped at traffic lights
According to the story, the young man, riding his scooter stopped at a traffic light, was approached by another older boy who, after verbally provoking him, punched him.
Despite the violence of the attack, the 15-year-old's father also wanted to underline the positive aspects of the story: “I am grateful to all the people who helped my son, from the police to his friends. This gives me hope for our society.”
THEattacker, after the incident, he returned to the scene to apologize, but the damage was done. The 15-year-old will have to undergo surgery and will have to deal with the psychological consequences of this experience.
“He hasn’t wanted to leave the house these days and he will be operated on tomorrow. What scares us are the psychological and social repercussions.
But I am happy to have testified to the existence of a civil society that is still ready to do its part. Many people helped my son and did not shy away from testifying to the Police about what happened.
I am grateful to the Police and 118 crews who intervened, who were very attentive and looked after my son, and to his fantastic friends, who supported him with great affection. This gives me hope”.
“Another episode of brutal and senseless violence. The subject is already known to the police and I hope he doesn't get away with it.
Anyone who thinks they can turn our city, our streets, into a Wild West without rules has misunderstood. Zero tolerance is needed for this behavior.” This is the comment of Francesco Emilio Borrelli, deputy of the Green Alliance – Left.
