Salerno at the Youth Culture Center with the “Sing with Kant” Festival
Salerno will become the center of youth culture with the second edition of the festival “Canta con Kant. Dialoghi Suoni Visioni”, an event that combines philosophy, music and new technologies. The event includes philosophical talks, theater and poetry seminars, meetings with great artists, philosophers, academics, journalists and experts in new technologies. Inauguration and Guests of Honor
The festival will be inaugurated on Thursday, September 26 at 9:XNUMX am in the Sala Pasolini in Salerno. The event will see the participation of Pantaleone Annunziata, sole director of Scabec, Francesco Morra, councilor delegated to culture of the Province of Salerno, Vincenzo Napoli, mayor of Salerno, and Fabrizio Lomonaco, Full Professor of History of Philosophy at the University of Naples Federico II. Morning Dedicated to Schools
The festival program includes a morning section dedicated to schools in Campania. The lectio magistralis will be held by illustrious speakers such as Telmo Pievani, who will speak on “Nature and Artifice: Critique of a Dichotomy,” Anna Donise with her reflection on “Empathy for Robots?” and José Maria Galván who will discuss the “Age of Technoethics. Are We Natural or Artificial?”.
Philosophical Seminars and Workshops
In the afternoon, starting at 15:30 p.m., several philosophical seminars will be held. Alessandro Arbo will address the topic of “Fireworks. The philosophical problem of musical recording” while Francesco Vitale will talk about “Mechanics of creation. Art and artificial intelligence”. Arco Catalano will host workshops on Theater & Philosophy and Poetry & Music, with the participation of professionals in the field such as Mariella Celia and Ivan Macera.
Concerts and Entertainment
The musical section of the festival, directed by Stefano Piccolo, will kick off on September 26 with Passione Live, a journey through classical and modern Neapolitan song. Artists will include Francesco Di Bella, Roberto Colella, Maldestro, Irene Scarpato and many others. In Piazza Sedile di Portanova, Radio Kiss Kiss Italia will broadcast live, entertaining the public with interviews and music.
