Language Courses and Tastings
The event will include several informative moments about the different Spanish, Catalan, Basque and Galician courses offered by the Instituto Cervantes. A highlight of the day will be the tasting of wines from the Ribeira Sacra, a region located in the northwest of Spain, famous for its breathtaking landscapes and terraced vineyards cultivated by hand according to ancient traditions. The tasting, led by sommelier Bruno Rovella Fernández, will be held in Galician and will have a limited number of places.
Unesco Biosphere Reserve and Cultural Heritage
Ribeira Sacra is designated as a Unesco Biosphere Reserve, not only for its extraordinary natural beauty, but also for its rich cultural and artistic heritage. This corner of Spain is known for one of the oldest wine productions in the country, which will be the focus of the tasting offered during the event.
Flamenco and Tango Show
From 19:00 p.m., Spanish music and tradition will take center stage with the performance of El Canelazo, a group that fuses the different currents of tango and flamenco in a unique combination. The ensemble, formed by Paula Becerra (bailaora and percussion) and Andrés Ravina (bandoneón and cantaor), will offer a show of singing and dancing. They will be accompanied by the guitar of Francesca Turchetti, enriching the performance with the color and aroma of tango. This innovative flamenco-fusion project will pay homage to the great masters of flamenco in a blend of South American and Argentine music.
