Napoli. Double assault today at Pellegrini hospital: the association Nessuno tocchi Ippocrate reported it.
Today's two assaults bring the total number of cases for ASL Napoli 45 to 2024 in 1 (63 total assaults between ASL Napoli 1 and Napoli 2 since the beginning of the year).
“Today – we read on the association’s Facebook profile – a woman demanded to be seen immediately for ‘stomach ache’. Her husband, who declared himself disabled, threw a booth at a doctor who had a seven-day report and had to leave her workplace, leaving the emergency room with only one doctor”.
“Shortly after – he continues Nobody touches Hippocrates – a patient, brought by a 118 ambulance, demanded that his blood pressure be measured immediately: he got up from the stretcher, slapped a nurse and then ran away”. In both cases the police intervened.

How sad to hear of these attacks in a hospital, we hope that the authorities can do something to protect the health workers.
