Giugliano. Not to miss anything from a criminal point of view: an entire family nucleus managed a huge drug trafficking and then also a trafficking of stolen cars and the subsequent request for the "return horse".
And it is for this reason that the Carabinieri of the Pozzuoli company have executed an order for the application of a precautionary measure, issued by the investigating judge of the Court of Naples North at the request of the Aversa prosecutor's office, against 11 people, aged between 35 and 66.
They are all accused, to varying degrees and in competition with each other, of illicit drug trafficking, car theft, receiving stolen goods and extortion, using the so-called "return horse" method.
The investigations have allowed to document the existence of a drug trafficking activity, conducted by a family unit in their home in Giugliano, with the identification of the numerous and trusted collaborators who contributed to the management of the drug dealing area.
During the investigation, more than 50 transfers of hashish and cocaine were documented and two individuals were arrested in flagrante delicto; several doses of drugs were also seized.
Finally, a proven activity consisting in the theft of vehicles, aimed at making extortionate demands to the owners for the return.
10 in prison and one under house arrest but one escaped capture
The precautionary measure was issued against 11 suspects; for one of them the measure of house arrest was applied, for the other 10 the precautionary detention in prison, a measure currently carried out only for 9 of the 10 recipients.
