On Thursday, October 17, at 11:00 a.m., the University of Salerno will host an important event: the presentation of the Charlot Award. This cultural event is organized by the Municipality of Salerno and supported by the Campania Region through Scabec. The award celebrates the world of cinema and comedy, drawing inspiration from the great Charlie Chaplin. The event will be held in the University's Economics Room A (Room D).
Academic collaboration
The Charlot Award presentation event is organized in collaboration with the Department of Private Law at the University of Salerno and the DiTas Tourism and Entertainment Laboratory. This demonstrates the university's commitment to promoting a constructive dialogue between culture, entertainment, and education. The award aims to recognize talent in the entertainment world, combining tradition and innovation, and garnering critical and public acclaim.

The day will open with a presentation by Professor Domenico Apicella, an expert in Private Law. His presentation will offer an important reflection on the importance of entertainment culture and tourism in the current legal and social context. This will be followed by presentations by Claudio Tortora, artistic director of the Charlot Prize, Valentina Tortora, Gianluca Tortora, and Roberto Vargiu, who will discuss the prize and its impact on the national and international cultural landscape.
