Presentation of the Charlot Award at the University of Salerno

On Thursday 17 October, at 11:00, the University of Salerno will host an important event: the presentation of the Charlot Prize. This cultural event is organized by the Municipality of Salerno and supported by the Campania Region through Scabec. The award celebrates the world of cinema and comedy, taking inspiration from the great Charlie Chaplin. The event will be held in the Aula A of Economics (Stecca D) of the university.

Academic collaboration

The presentation event of the Charlot Award is organized in collaboration with the Chair of Private Law of theUniversity of Salerno and the DiTas Tourism and Entertainment Laboratory. This demonstrates the university's commitment to promoting a constructive dialogue between culture, entertainment and teaching. Through the award, the aim is to enhance talent in the entertainment world, combining tradition and innovation, and gaining the approval of the public and critics.

The day will open with a speech by Prof. Avv. Domenico Apicella, an expert from the Private Law department. His presentation will offer an important reflection on the importance of the culture of entertainment and tourism in the current legal and social context. This will be followed by speeches by Claudio Tortora, artistic director of the Charlot Award, Valentina Tortora, Gianluca Tortora and Roberto Vargiu, who will discuss the award and its impact on the national and international cultural scene.
