Camorra, Carla D'Amico returns to prison: a hard blow for the D'Amico clan

The Court of Cassation has decided: Carla D'Amico, sister of the bosses Antonio and Giuseppe D'Amico and a leading figure of the homonymous clan of Ponticelli, returns to prison. The woman, already convicted in several proceedings, will have to serve a residual sentence of several years.

The news is a hard blow for the D'Amico clan, already struggling with a series of difficulties. Internal betrayals, such as that of Giuseppe Perrella, have weakened the organization. Furthermore, the ambush that cost the life of Massimo Lucca, uncle of the current regent, has raised tensions with rivals from the De Micco clan.

The D'Amicos now live in a sort of siege, as reported in her timely reports from Ponticelli by the anti-Camorra journalist Luciana Esposito, fearing new incursions by the enemies.

Their concerns, ironically, are mainly focused on the imminent release of Giuseppe Riccardi, husband of Carla D'Amico. The absence of the woman, who should have supported him on his return to Ponticelli, further complicates the situation. The boss will therefore be without support.

Her husband Giuseppe Riccardi will soon be released from prison

The arrest of Carla D'Amico further weakens the clan, forced to deal with fear and uncertainty. Life in the Conocal neighborhood is marked by violence and mistrust. Many members of the D'Amico family, fearing reprisals, have decided to keep their children away from school.

Carla D'Amico's return to prison is an event that will profoundly influence the criminal dynamics of Ponticelli. The next few weeks will be crucial to understand how the D'Amico clan will react to this new challenge.
