A flow of 380 thousand visitors is expected in the city during the Christmas holidays, from December 22nd until Epiphany. This was announced by the Councilor for Tourism, Teresa Armato, during the presentation of the official program for New Year's Eve. “The Observatory has provided us with data indicating a significant influx of people into the city – explained Councilor Armato –. We will be ready to welcome them with enhanced services, from urban hygiene to public mobility, including security".
To facilitate the tourist experience, 25 young “tourism tutors” will be operational, ready to provide information and support in the areas of greatest affluence. Visitors and residents will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a unique Christmas atmosphere thanks to approximately 80 events scheduled in the city. The calendar includes concerts, shows and special events dedicated to the holidays, designed to celebrate the Christmas and the new year with a diverse cultural offering suitable for all ages.
The influx of tourists represents a significant boost for the economic and cultural sector of the city, which aims to consolidate its role as a destination of excellence during the holidays. The organization has been taken care of to guarantee a pleasant, safe and memorable experience for both tourists and citizens.
