A major operation by the Naples Financial Police, initiated by Europol, aimed at suppressing international drug trafficking has led to the seizure of nearly 2 kilograms of narcotics. Intercepted on Neapolitan soil, the large shipment originated in Spain.
The driver of the van, the fifty-five year old SF from Castellammare di Stabia, already known to the Police, was arrested and placed under house arrest. The Guardia di Finanza military personnel, under the coordination of Europol, are on the trail of the accomplices, who are currently unknown.
The operation, coordinated by the Provincial Command of Naples, is part of a program of incisive repression of the drug trafficking coming from Spain, which has already seen further arrests and seizures of large quantities of illegal substances throughout the national territory in the previous months

This operation by the Guardia di Finanza was very important in fighting drug trafficking, but I wonder why there are still so many problems with drugs coming from Spain. More control is needed.
