Salerno. An 85-year-old woman fell down an embankment. It happened in the afternoon on via De Renzi, in the Canalone neighborhood of Salerno.
According to an initial reconstruction, the elderly woman was sitting on a low wall when she fell into the void. Recovered by a 118 helicopter, she was stabilized by the health workers of the Croce Bianca, who intervened with a medical car. She was then transported by helicopter ambulance to the “Roar” where she was taken in by the emergency room doctors. From what we understand she is conscious.
On site, in addition to the health workers of the Croce Bianca, also the State Police officers, the Municipal Police and the firefighters intervened. To allow the rescue and recovery operations, the road was blocked with inevitable disruption to traffic.
