A masked hero known as Mr. White roams the streets of Naples, especially in the Vomero neighborhood. Armed with a wire brush, an anti-corrosive brush, and paint, he has already refurbished 500 bollards, restoring dignity to neglected public spaces. His identity remains shrouded in mystery, as he always wears a white overall, but rumor has it that he may be a well-known Neapolitan business executive in his XNUMXs.
Activist Fabio Procaccini had the opportunity to meet and interview him. “I will call him Mr. White because he wants to remain anonymous. He is a business executive who has decided to react to the neglect and degradation in which our city finds itself. While our public administrators let the city rust, Mr. White goes out before dawn or late at night and restores the battered and rusty bollards. He has already recovered 500 of them.
Thanks to Mr. White the poles will live longer and our sidewalks are no longer adorned with rusty iron but with shiny yellow poles. Mr. White wants to improve the place where he lives, he wants to be an example to his son and hopes that others will emulate him. Naples is ours, the hamma saved!”
This urban redevelopment project not only improves the aesthetics of the city, but also represents a clear example of how citizens can unite to address local issues, showing that individual commitment can have a significant impact on the community.

It's interesting how one person can change the environment he lives in so much. Mr. White seems like a true hero, but it's also important to know who is behind this mask. I hope others will follow his example and not just watch.
