Naples – In response to the growing number of requests from citizens forced to abandon their homes declared uninhabitable due to the bradyseism, the Municipality of Naples has announced the strengthening of the information and assistance desk at the Municipality headquarters in via Acate.
The helpdesk, open during all office hours, has proven to be a fundamental tool for listening directly to citizens, also thanks to the periodic meetings organized at the municipal headquarters.
These moments of discussion have allowed the Administration to better understand the needs of those affected by the seismic events.
Regarding the request, advanced by numerous displaced persons, to be able to extend their stay in hotel facilities beyond the date of April 30, the Administration informs that it is awaiting new directives from the national Government.
In the meantime, the Municipality has already taken action on its own, anticipating - with its own resources - the disbursement of the CAS (Contribution for Independent Accommodation), a measure provided by the National Civil Protection, with the aim of promptly supporting families left homeless.

It is important that the municipality of Naples has decided to activate a help desk to help people who have lost their homes. But I wonder if it is enough to solve all the problems that these people face daily.
