After more than a year, the escape of the four perpetrators of the violent assault that took place on the night of February 16, 2024 in Cercola, in the province of Naples, has ended. Three men and a woman entered a garage with the intent to steal, but when the owner discovered them, they reacted with brutal violence: they hit him in the face with a screwdriver before fleeing into the darkness. Today, thanks to a thorough and timely investigation, the Carabinieri of the local police station have brought the entire gang to justice.

The investigations, which began immediately after the fact, allowed us to reconstruct the stages of that night and connect the group to a second robbery, carried out a few hours later in a supermarket in the same area, from which numerous food items were stolen. But that's not all: the investigations also revealed clues about other episodes of theft and receiving stolen goods that occurred in the following months, all concentrated in the Neapolitan hinterland.

The precautionary measures taken by order of the judicial authorities have resulted in two of the criminals being jailed, while the other two have been banned from residing in the Campania region . This measure confirms the scrupulous work of law enforcement, determined to firmly combat predatory crimes in the region.

I read the article about the arrest of those responsible for the Cercola assault. It is important that justice is done, but I hope that the measures are effective to prevent other similar crimes in the future.
