Naples – The city of Naples enthusiastically welcomes the return of theAmerigo Vespucci, the historic Navy Training Ship, three years after its last visit. On the occasion of the thirteenth stop of its Mediterranean Tour, the Neapolitan Municipality has organized a series of meetings open to the public at the Villaggio IN Italia, set up in the Maritime Station area.
The arrival of the “most beautiful ship in the world” at Molo Beverello was celebrated this morning with a welcoming ceremony attended by civil and military authorities, and for the first time, a delegation of students from the Metropolitan City of Naples.
The Municipality, as an institutional partner of the Neapolitan stage, has prepared a rich program of cultural and in-depth events. On Thursday, May 15, at 13 p.m., art historian Francesca Amirante and Andrea Mazzucchi, the Mayor's advisor for Libraries and Integrated Cultural Programming, will explore the deep connection between the sea and the city, analyzing it both from an urban planning point of view and through artistic and literary expressions.
On Thursday afternoon, at 18.30:XNUMX p.m., the House of Emerging Technologies (CTE) will present to citizens the City's commitment to promoting a digital, inclusive and innovative culture, but at the same time strongly rooted in the identity and artisan traditions of Naples, thanks to the collaboration with qualified technological partners. The meeting will be introduced by the Mayor's Chief of Staff, Maria Grazia Falciatore.
