NAPLES – The 2-2 draw against Genoa feels like a missed opportunity, but in Napoli no one intends to give up. Giacomo Raspadori, who scored the temporary 2-1, and Scott McTominay, who was awarded best player on the pitch, have clear ideas: the race for the Scudetto is still alive and will be played until the last second of the last two matchdays.
"We prepared and played this game well," Raspadori said at the end of the match. "The point allows us to stay ahead, but we wanted to win. The fans gave us an extraordinary push and deserved a different ending. Now we have to recover our energy, there are two real finals to go and we have to give it our all."
McTominay, decisive with two assists, invites the group to stay clear-headed and focused: "Genoa is an organized team, they scored two goals with merit. But this is a very tough championship, very balanced: we are playing it with two or three top teams and we are leaving a few points along the way. We must not panic, there is still room to recover and win".
