Cilento has shown many times that when it wants it can achieve anything. Now Camerota is asking for a helping hand to this wonderful land. The marine protected area “Costa degli Infreschi e della Masseta”, in fact, was perched for several weeks in first place in the competition organized by Asdomar that rewards the most beautiful marine protected areas in Italy. Then suddenly it slipped to third place and was overtaken by the marine areas of Naples: Parco sommerso di Gaiola and Punta Campanella. But the citizens, the administration and most of the tourists fond of Camerota, quickly mobilized. The word of mouth started on Facebook and WhatsApp. Groups and work teams were born. The Neapolitan catchment area is logically much larger, but Cilento can give a big hand to Camerota.
