Il palazzetto dello Sport di Pozzuoli diventa hub vaccinale.
Il sindaco di Vincenzo Figliolia, rende noto l’accordo raggiunto con l’Asl Napoli 2 Nord.“A partire da giovedì 15 aprile il Palazzetto dello Sport di Monterusciello sarà sede per la somministrazione dei vaccini contro il Covid-19”, dichiara il sindaco di Pozzuoli Vincenzo Figliolia, che rende noto l’accordo raggiunto tra l’amministrazione comunale e la direzione dell’Asl Napoli 2 North.
"We gave it on free loan to ASL Napoli 2 for the entire duration of the vaccination campaign - he explains -. The choice of location was considered by us together with the majority councilors, evaluating the various possibilities we had: the Palazzetto seemed to us to be the most suitable location for the large spaces available and the convenience of parking. This is our concrete contribution to making vaccinations more operational and faster in our Municipality, the only way we have today to defeat the coronavirus ".
The health authority will use only its own personnel for the activity to be carried out in the PalaTrincone on via Miccoli, the Municipality will guarantee the provision of the various services, including surveillance of the facility. Obviously, the ASL will individually summon citizens according to the vaccination plan launched by the government and the indications of the Campania Region. In the meantime, starting from Thursday 15 April, a 24-hour parking ban has been established on via Miccoli for both sides of the roadway.
