Tragedia Torre del Greco: la Procura di Torre Annunziata ha emesso un decreto di fermo di indiziato di delitto nei confronti della donna di 40 anni madre del bimbo morto annegato ieri sera lungo la spiaggia de La Scala.

The woman, found last night in the sea with the child in her arms after the alarm raised around 21 pm by her husband, was questioned in the Carabinieri barracks, in the presence of her lawyer, by the prosecutor of the Torre Annunziata Prosecutor's Office who, at the end of the questioning, issued a detention order against her for voluntary homicide. The woman, after the ritual formalities, will be taken to the women's prison in Pozzuoli.
The order was issued because "the investigations conducted by the Carabinieri of the operational section of the Torre del Greco company and coordinated by this Public Prosecutor's Office, which began on the evening of January 2 and continued without interruption until this morning, have allowed us to gather serious evidence of guilt against the woman as the perpetrator of the aforementioned murder".
The woman was found in the sea on the Torre del Greco coast, at around 2:22.30 p.m., on the evening of January 21, at via Calastro, with the lifeless child in her arms. Her husband had reported to the police that the woman had left home with her child around XNUMX p.m. that same evening. Despite attempts to resuscitate the child, he was declared dead by drowning.
A wooden cross to pay homage to the two-year-old boy who drowned yesterday. An unknown hand placed it on the stretch of beach in La Scala where the boy's lifeless body was recovered, creating the cross in an artisanal way. The surveys that the carabinieri carried out during the night, before the area affected by the tragedy at sea was placed under sequestration, are still visible on the sand.
