The protest of Europa Verde continues together with a representation of citizens to ask for justice for Mrs. Carlotta, the elderly teacher whose apartment was illegally occupied, which is located in the building on via Egiziaca in Pizzofalcone in Napoli, owned by the municipality and the object of various illicit occupations managed by local clans.
On the morning of May 10, the Municipal Police finally intervened and found what had been reported in recent days by the Green group consisting of Francesco Emilio Borrelli, Regional Councilor; Benedetta Sciannimanica, coordinator of Europa Verde for the territory; the councilor of Municipality I Lorenzo Pascucci, Gianluigi Grittano and Francesca De Vivo.
“The officers found that the lock on the iron door had been forced and then changed as if the squatters were the rightful owners of the apartment.
The execution of illegal works inside was also verified, for which a judicial seizure has now been arranged. A camp bed had even been placed at the disposal of a 'lookout' who was supposed to warn the others in case of a check.
Now we have notified Mrs. Carlotta's granddaughter so that she can recover what had not yet been thrown away by the squatters, namely the plates. For the crystal glasses, which the teacher was very fond of, as for the books, there was nothing to be done." - commented Borrelli.
