Covid contagion drops in Campania and with it hospitalizations and the positivity rate.
In Campania, in the last 24 hours, 5.887 positive cases of Coronavirus have been recorded (5.518 in antigen test and 369 to the molecular swab), data which take into account the update on the measures quarantine and isolation of the Ministry of Health. They are 5 deaths in total, 3 in the last 48 hours and 2 that occurred previously but were recorded yesterday. This was reported by the Regional Crisis Unit.
I processed swabs yesterday there were 29.419 of which 24.088 antigen tests and 5.331 molecular. In percentage terms, this means that the positivity rate is 20,10%, more than one percentage point less than yesterday when it was 21,45%.
In hospitals, the decline in admissions to intensive care continues with 30 beds occupied (-3 compared to yesterday) and in hospitalisation with 659 occupied beds (-7 compared to yesterday).
