Pompeii presents the 'Cultural Gym', a series of cultural and entertainment events as part of the Campania by Night program.
The review of cultural and entertainment events planned and financed by the Campania Region (Poc 2014-2020), produced and promoted by Scabec, a regional company for the enhancement of cultural heritage. A true cultural gym where you can train your mind and spirit through the beauty and history of Pompeii but also through special meetings with writers and artists.
The program, which will be concentrated in the month of September (8, 15, 23, 29) and Friday 7 October, includes a special event in the garden of the Large Gymnasium of Pompeii, a place of exercise for the Pompeian youth, from 19.00 pm to 20.30 pm and, to follow, the possibility of a free or guided visit on request to the exhibition “Art and sensuality in the houses of Pompeii”, which explains the omnipresence of sensual images in the daily life of the ancient city.
The review will be announced in preview tomorrow, July 27 at 19.00:XNUMX pm, with the presentation of the book “La Fortuna” by Valeria Parrella, Feltrinelli Editore. The Director General of the Museums, Massimo Osanna and the Director of the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, Gabriel Zuchtriegel, will intervene in dialogue with the writer.
On this occasion, the Applied Research Laboratory of the Park, of which she was the founder and for years the manager, will be named after Annamaria Ciarallo, the writer's mother, giving an important boost to research, especially in the field of conservation of organic finds and studies of botany applied to archaeology.
Scabec's Sole Director, Pantaleone Annunziata, will be there to officially launch Campania by Night, which this year includes 40 events in 12 cultural locations in Campania.
