There is no record of any finding of an 800 thousand euro savings bond by Mariangela Di Certainly, the 107 year old woman originally from Dugenta

Antonio Di Cerbo, originally from Dugenta and resident in Switzerland, specified this. According to a reconstruction, forwarded to all newspapers by the Giustitalia association, the old lady would have found among her things a postal savings bond from the last century worth 80 million lire, which today would be worth about 815 thousand euros.

“They’ve been bombarding me with phone calls since this morning but frankly I can’t understand how this story came out since it’s totally false. I and the other relatives who are close to the grandmother are completely shocked: that voucher doesn’t exist, that money doesn’t exist. Unfortunately, because obviously money always comes in handy for everyone, let alone a sum of money like that. Unfortunately it’s just a joke though”.
