Chases on the city's seafront and a brawl in a pizzeria on Via Medina, but above all attacks in various areas of the center. The extreme fringes of organized fans broke into a pizzeria and threw bottles at the Dutch who responded by throwing glasses.
Other Neapolitans, armed with clubs, began to violently beat. The same scene also occurred on the seafront, where other Ajax ultras, visibly altered by alcohol use, began chanting. The fuse had been lit and a brawl broke out. Carabinieri and police were on site.
Around 60-70 Dutch supporters, many of them under the influence of alcohol, were stopped by the police and carabinieri in via Caracciolo, the city's seafront: they had staged a sort of procession to get past the cordon of police forces that keeps them away from any possible contact with the Neapolitan ultras.
