San Giorgio a Cremano. School meals have started as planned at the city's five comprehensive schools. The Mayor, together with Councilor Giuseppe Giordano, like every year, visited a school, this time at the Plesso Noschese of IC IV Stanziale - to verify the service and the children's appreciation of the new menu.
Together with the director Patrizia Ferrione, they saw the little ones from the nursery school and then those from the primary school, satisfied with the meal: pasta and peas, ham, spinach and an apple.
All served through the dishing out in the canteen kits consisting of a rigid plate, already divided into three special spaces to accommodate the three different courses and metal cutlery. Each child also has his or her own personal water bottle. All in a green key.
The service was carried out regularly and the menu, which changes daily, this year was enriched with pizza, hamburgers and fish meatballs. All agreed with the canteen Commission and approved by SIAN Asl Napoli 3, the monitoring service this year is also entrusted to the Zooprophylactic Institute of Portici.
"We have taken steps to implement all the necessary activities to start the canteen service as soon as possible - explains Mayor Giorgio Zinno - and we have found the punctuality and efficiency of the service to the satisfaction of the young students and teachers. I remind you that the children belonging to the families of those entitled to the exemption of the ticket, will eat regularly with all the other children, while waiting for the official list of exempt children, which will be published shortly - continues Zinno.
The same goes for those students whose parents have not yet registered on the platform for the canteen service, but in this case we recommend that they get in order as soon as possible. Let's raise our children in a community that welcomes them, assists them and protects them".
