Yesterday, as part of the services provided by the Police Headquarters Napoli in the “movida” areas, officers from the San Ferdinando, Decumani and Montecalvario police stations, finance officers from the Provincial Command of Naples and personnel from the autonomous service of the Local Police of the Municipality of Naples carried out checks in Chiaia, the historic centre and the Spanish Quarters.
During the activity, the operators in the Chiaia area identified 11 people; furthermore, in the streets Cisterna dell'Olio, Benedetto Croce, dei Tribunali, largo Banchi Nuovi, largo Giusso, in the squares San Domenico Maggiore, San Gaetano, del Gesù Nuovo and in piazzetta Nilo 20 people were identified and, moreover, several commercial establishments in piazza del Gesù, via Mezzocannone and via Benedetto Croce were checked.
Furthermore, the agents of the Montecalvario Police Station, in the Spanish Quarters and in particular in via Toledo and in vico Lungo Teatro Nuovo, identified 38 people and checked 5 commercial activities.
Finally, in San Martino, in the squares Vanvitelli and Medaglie D'Oro and in the streets Giordano, Scarlatti and Falcone, 31 people were identified, three of whom had previous police records, and 15 vehicles were checked.
