It will be a weekend characterized by almost spring-like temperatures even if with an annoying and strong wind throughout Campania making the weather uncertain.
The storm has brought, in the last 24 hours, gusts over 100 km/h and extensive storm surges on the western coasts. It is not over yet and continues to rage in the North-West and on the Lower Tyrrhenian: in the South the protagonist is the Mistral wind, in the North the Foehn wind that descends to the Po Valley, heating it in an anomalous way.
So be cautious in the next few hours, then gradually the weather will clear up everywhere but with a new surprise.
On Sunday this Adriatic impulse will partly hit the South with some isolated spring-like showers in a leopard-like pattern, elsewhere the weather conditions will be mostly sunny, but a little cooler. It is interesting to note the evolution of the new week that will start with a timid high pressure field, but immediately disturbed, in a profound way, by a Cyclone on Tuesday 14 March: the bad weather could also hit the North with widespread rain and snowfall on the Alps above 1000 meters.
Unfortunately, as often happens since December 2021, this time too the North-West could be skipped by this Cyclone and see its extreme drought worsened. In short, a weekend that is variable at times, but improving compared to the stormy Friday, a transitional Monday, Tuesday with the Cyclone: and after that? Spring.
Since mid-March, in fact, it seems that high pressure wants to take over all of Italy with sunny and mild weather: appointment with Winter in December 2023?
