The usual great show. Luciano Spalletti never disappoints. And on the eve of the first leg of the quarter-finals of Champions League that his Napoli will play at home of Milan lives up to his show.

After the answers to Maldini e Guardiola, the technician had his say on the absence of osimhen: “The strength of a team – the Tuscan coach clarified – it is never a bare and raw addition of the team members”.

Spalletti: “Osimhen? Won even without him.

Raspadori? We will evaluate”

“But the qualities, how they manage to coexist with each other, the team behavior.

And our team showed that they can play beyond the starting lineup. We won important matches even without Osimhen.

I expect that whoever goes on the pitch has the trust of their teammates and themselves."

Also missing Simeon, but there is Breakers which seems to have recovered. However Spalletti he intends to wait until tomorrow morning to give the green light: “He only had one training session, not a very deep one.

We will evaluate him to have him do further tests and then we will choose who will play in that position".

Between Milan e Napoli the away team always won. “I think it's the constant work that needs to be done on a team to make it strong. – Spalletti assured – have a mentality in such a way as not to distinguish which field is worse or better”.

Spalletti: “High point of my career and that of the players”

Spalletti has already played the quarter-finals of Champions. But tomorrow's match could be the most important of his career. “I hope there are others more important than this one – replied the Italian coach -. We are at a very high point in our career, I speak for myself but also for my players."

“We have to bring the desire and enthusiasm back to where we started.

When you go to play these Champions League matches you go to play in stadiums of teams that seem prohibitive, but we have shown that we can do well and I expect the lads to do the same."

Spalletti: “Difficult match, we will play a lot for the future”

Considering that it is a match that is played in 180 minutes, certain evaluations are mandatory. And Spalletti he made them: “Instead of risking Osimhen getting seriously injured, we made some assessments, thinking about the next matches.

Since this is the competition of champions, champions don't cry over spilt milk."

“There are emotions and character that can sometimes shift, but I know that this team will do everything tomorrow night to be better than Milan. Difficult match, we were not the strongest 15 days ago, we are not the weakest now.

We will play a lot for the future of all of us and we will be ready"he concluded.
