Serious road accident late yesterday evening on the State Road 90 delle Puglie in Camporeale di Ariano Irpino, in the province of Avellino. Three people, aboard two cars and a truck, were injured.

One of the drivers was trapped in the wreckage: he was freed by other drivers, by the municipal police officers who arrived on the scene and by the Fire Department. The injured were transported by 118 ambulances to the hospital in Ariano Irpino.

One of the injured, whose conditions were more serious, was later transferred to the hospital in Avellino with a reserved prognosis. For almost an hour, traffic to and from Foggia was blocked in both directions.
