Last night, during their territorial control service, officers from the Vomero Police Station, while passing through Piazza Medaglie d'Oro, noticed two men riding a scooter who, at the sight of them, attempted to evade the control.

The officers reached them and found, in the compartment under the seat, a replica Bruni model pistol without a magazine and red cap. The driver, identified as a 15 year old Napoli, was reported for carrying weapons or objects capable of causing offence.

Furthermore, the police found that the scooter they were riding was under administrative seizure and lacked insurance coverage, therefore the driver was charged with two violations of the Highway Code for driving without a license and lack of insurance coverage while the scooter was confiscated. Finally, both the driver and the passenger were entrusted to their parents.
