They were called Marcello Mastrangelo, 46 years old, military man Glossop but resident in Cava de' Tirreni e Roberto Reveglia, 28 year old from Alife, the two men died in the head-on collision that occurred during the night between cars driving on the provincial road 331 in the province of Caserta.

The Public Prosecutor's Office of Santa Maria Capua Vetere has ordered an autopsy on their bodies. The girl who was riding in the passenger seat of one of the victims' cars is hospitalized. The impact was very violent, with the two cars ending up on opposite sides of the road.

The Carabinieri of Piedimonte Matese are investigating the dynamics of the accident. The military carried out the surveys and interviewed the witnesses.
