The Unified Regional Operations Room of the Campania Region has issued a heat wave alert: until Wednesday 23 August 2023, barring further notice, high temperatures above seasonal averages are expected in the city of Naples.
It is recommended to use appropriate self-protection measures, to avoid going out during the hottest hours of the day, to implement useful behaviors to prevent possible damage and to protect in particular children, the elderly and at-risk and fragile subjects.
We also ask you to protect your pets from the heat and to provide water for any dogs and cats present in the area.
