

The wife of one of the killers of fishmonger Antonio Morione was placed under house arrest with an electronic bracelet.
At the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office, the GIP of the Court of Torre Annunziata has in fact validated the arrest in flagrante delicto of Valentina Gallo, carried out on Tuesday 8 August, in Boscoreale, by the Carabinieri of the Torre Annunziata Group.
The woman is accused of the crime of illegal possession of a firearm and at the same time issued a precautionary custodial measure for the aforementioned crime as well as for the receiving of the weapon against the aforementioned and her husband Angelo Palumbo, already subjected, since 15 July last, to precautionary custody in prison for the aggravated robbery and the murder of the fishmonger Antonio Morione, committed in Boscoreale on 23 December 2021.
Following a house search, carried out on the initiative of the Carabinieri on August 8, at the home of the spouses Palumbo Angelo and Gallo Valentina, the latter was found in possession of a sawn-off shotgun, the object of a robbery reported in 2017 in Palermo, found hidden in the immediate vicinity of the cellar, an appurtenance of the aforementioned home.
According to the investigations carried out by the Carabinieri, the possession of the illegally held weapon would be attributable to both spouses, since it emerged that Palumbo, although detained, had given his wife instructions, which she had received, to move the rifle from the place where it was kept.
The woman was placed under coercive house arrest with an electronic bracelet, while her husband was placed in prison for precautionary detention.
