The Mayor Gaetano Manfredi, met Fabio Cannavaro al Paradise Center di soccavo, the historic training ground of the Napoli di Maradona taken over by the former captain of Italy. The mayor of Napoli expressed full support for the Golden Ball for the realization of projects related to sport and social issues.
Gaetano Manfredi's full support for Fabio Cannavaro and his future initiatives is nothing new. Already at the end of July the mayor said about it: “I wished him well, expressing the utmost availability of the Municipality in his choice”.
“Our idea is to facilitate the urban planning and administrative procedures that will be necessary – explained Manfredi on the sidelines of the theatre review 'Restate a Napoli' -. It was a major goal of the administration to restore Campo Paradiso, a symbol of the history of football in Naples, to a football vocation."
