The Vasto district continues to be a crossroads for drug trafficking both for Neapolitan pushers and for the many migrants who live there, work there and frequent it.
It is no coincidence that last night, the officers of the Vasto-Arenaccia, during the territorial control service, while passing through via Brindisi on the corner of via Bari they noticed a person who, after having given money to a person riding a scooter, waited for the latter to take something from his jacket pocket.
The police intervened before the criminal process could be concluded, stopping the suspect, finding him in possession of 10 packages of cocaine weighing approximately 6 grams and 150 euros.
For these reasons, the man, identified as a 34 year old Napoli with police records, including specific ones, he was arrested for illicit possession and sale of narcotic substances.
Investigations are now continuing to track down both his supplier and to discover on whose behalf he was dealing.
