The State Police and the Guardia di Finanza have executed detention orders issued by the Criminal Enforcement Office of the Attorney General's Office Napoli against 6 people linked to the Batti Camorra clan. The clan operates in the territory of San Giuseppe Vesuviano.
The people involved are Salvatore Ambrosio, 29, sentenced to 6 years, 8 months and 20 days of imprisonment; Alan Cristian Batti, 37, sentenced to 9 years and 6 months of imprisonment; Alfredo Batti, 40, sentenced to 15 years of imprisonment; Angelo Auriemma, 34, sentenced to 7 years and 10 days of imprisonment; Tommaso Gabriele Boccia, 39, sentenced to 4 years and 6 months of imprisonment, and Giuseppina Batti, 49, sentenced to 6 years, 8 months and 10 days of imprisonment, the latter traced this morning.
All were convicted of drug trafficking, weapons, robbery and extortion. They had already been convicted in a ruling by the Court of Appeal of Naples on 4 October 2022, against which they had appealed.
The sentences were enforced after the hearing of the Court of Cassation on February 20, which rejected the appeal and confirmed the prison sentences. The executions were carried out by the Naples Flying Squad, the San Giuseppe Vesuviano Police Station and the Gico-Goa of the Guardia di Finanza of Naples.
