The spread of a voice message from one chat to another this afternoon has raised concerns.
A male voice announced that the Neapolitan deputy of the Greens, Francesco Emilio Borrelli, was involved in a serious road accident and hospitalized in desperate conditions in a Neapolitan hospital, but it was a sensational fake news.
Borrelli reported receiving more than 20 phone calls from worried people and reassured everyone about his condition: “Don’t worry, I’m fine and as a good Neapolitan I’m touching wood.”
Luana Zanella, leader of the Alleanza Verdi e Sinistra group in the Chamber, defined this episode as "yet another act of intimidation against our comrade" and announced her intention to inform the police authorities about the incident, hoping to be able to identify the origin of this despicable action.
Zanella underlined Borrelli's important work against crime, underlining the support of the Green and Left Alliance and the community where Borrelli carries out his valuable work.
