The two teenagers accused of murdering Frederik Akwasi Adofo, a 43-year-old Ghanaian of no fixed abode, have been sentenced to 16 years in prison each.
Adofo had been brutally murdered on the evening of June 19th of last year in Pomigliano d'Arco.
Juvenile Court Judge Anita Polito handed down the sentence through a summary proceeding. The defendants, ages 17 and 16, were found guilty of aggravated voluntary manslaughter because the crime was committed for frivolous reasons.
