An important seizure was carried out this morning by the police in the infamous Villa di San Giovanni a Teduccio, the Rinaldi clan's base of operations.
The officers of the San Giovanni-Barra Police Station carried out a check in a building in the Villa district where, in an unused apartment, they found a Taurus revolver, calibre 357 Magnum, with 8 cartridges, which turned out to be the proceeds of a theft.
And then two bags with approximately 35 grams of cocaine, another 5 bags containing over 500 grams of marijuana, 2 blocks of hashish for a total weight of over 201 grams, two precision scales and various material for packaging the drug which were seized.
The revolver was sent to the scientific section that will have to establish whether it was used in recent criminal episodes. In the meantime, investigations continue to try to trace the users of that disused place and therefore to collect the drug load.
