Yesterday evening, Carabinieri from the local station, along with soldiers from the Campania Regiment, conducted a large-scale operation combing the streets of the town north of Naples. The operation led to the arrest of Pasquale Sagnotta, a 41-year-old local man already known to law enforcement, for drug dealing. drug.
The man was caught by officers in the parking lot of the shopping center on Via San Francesco in Patria while selling a dose of cocaine to a customer. He was stopped and searched, and found in possession of 10 more doses of the same substance, as well as four cell phones and €4 in cash, believed to be the proceeds of the illegal activity.
Drugs, phones and money were seized. Sagnotta is currently awaiting trial. During the operation, checks were also carried out on the highway code, with several fines contested for violations such as driving without a helmet, lack of MOT and lack of insurance.
