Last afternoon, the police officers from the police station Vasto-Arenaccia, during the territory control service, while passing through Corso Garibaldi they noticed, sitting on a bench, a person who, in exchange for money, gave something to a person who then walked away and disappeared without a trace.
The police officers, who promptly intervened to interrupt the criminal process, reached and stopped the suspect, finding him in possession of 12 bars of hashish weighing 70 grams and 155 euros divided into banknotes of various denominations.
Therefore, since there was good reason to believe that there could be further elements in relation to the facts for which they were proceeding, the operators extended the control to the suspect's home where they found, well hidden, another 5 bars of hashish weighing 15 grams, 2 packages of cocaine weighing 2 grams, a cutter and various material for packaging the drug.
For these reasons, the suspect, identified as a 31-year-old Neapolitan, was arrested for illicit possession of narcotic substances.
