The Carabinieri of the Tenenza of Gaeta they arrested a 25 year old man from the province of Caserta, already known to the police for previous drug-related offences, on charges of violence and resisting a public official.
On Thursday evening, the young man tried in vain to escape the control of the military of the Arma, who intervened following the report of some passers-by who complained of harassment. During the escape attempt, he resisted the Carabinieri.
He was also identified as the perpetrator of sexually harassing acts against two local women.
Therefore, he was reported for sexual violence and, pending further investigation, released by order of the judicial authority, with a simultaneous request to the competent administrative authority for the issuing of a mandatory expulsion order from the Gulf town for a period of three years.
