Drama avoided at Ariano Irpino, in the province of Avellino, thanks to the promptness of the carabinieri.

A 20-year-old girl, after a heated argument with her family, left her home and headed towards the train station with the intention of getting hit by the train.
The family alerted 112 which, together with an ambulance from 118, reached the train station, which is located five kilometers from the town center.
Through dialogue, the soldiers convinced the young woman to move away from the tracks. At the same time, rail traffic was temporarily blocked.
