The meeting is this evening at 19 pm in front of Caffè Diemme in Prato della Valle, where a procession will set off through the streets of the city center to Palazzo Bo.

The event is a gesture of solidarity organized by Roberta, Chiara Jaconis' sister, and friends of the young woman, remembered for her contagious smile. Chiara was hit on Sunday, September 15 by a statuette that fell from a balcony in the Spanish Quarter of Naples, an accident that led to her tragic death last Tuesday.

The final farewell to Chiara Jaconis, the 30-year-old tourist from Padua who died in hospital from serious injuries, is scheduled for tomorrow. Her father Gianfranco expressed his gratitude, saying: "Our daughter is back with us. Naples and the Neapolitans have an immense heart."

The ceremony will be accompanied by two songs: “Fiore di Maggio” by Fabio Concato and a composition by the Neapolitan lawyer Sergio Pisani.

The coffin of Chiara, originally from Padua but resident in Paris, arrived from Naples on Friday afternoon, and a large public turnout is expected for the funeral.
