Naples. Sixteen years old, a student from Posillipo and son of the “Napoli Bene” and yet despite a family situation that was certainly not difficult he had undertaken the path of a pusher.
He was in Piazza Fuga al Vomero a few steps from the funicular station. He moved on both sides of the square with normality thinking he would not arouse suspicion.
But those movements did not go unnoticed by the Carabinieri of the Vomero station, engaged in an anti-drug and anti-pickpocketing operation between the various metro stations and funiculars of the neighborhood.
When they approached the boy, they discovered that he was only 16 years old and that he was hiding an 80-gram block of hashish on his person. The young student from Posillipo had another 10 grams of the same substance already divided into doses and 4,5 grams of marijuana in his pockets.
In addition to the drugs, the carabinieri found 250 euros in cash, believed to be the proceeds of drug dealing, and a precision scale.
The 16-year-old was arrested and transferred to the Colli Aminei First Reception Center. He will have to answer to the charge of possession of narcotics for the purpose of dealing.
