For the third consecutive year, the Toxicology sector of the Clinical Pathology Laboratory of the Loreto Crispi Multi-Functional Health Facility, belonging to the UOC of Territorial Clinical Pathology of the ASL Napoli 1 Centro, (acting director Dr. Catello Tommasino), has successfully passed the audit to maintain the UNI EN ISO 9001:2015 certification acquired in 2022 with the certifying body BUREAU VERITAS Italia Spa, a world leader in control, verification and certification services for Quality, Environment, Health, Safety and Social Responsibility.
The prestigious result was achieved for the following purpose: “Provision of laboratory medicine services in the specialized sector of first and second level toxicology”.
The Toxicology Laboratory of Loreto Crispi, whose activity is followed by Drs. Giuliana Canonico and Patrizia Frassi, represents the only reference center of the ASL Napoli 1 Center for toxicological investigations for both forensic and diagnostic purposes and contributes to the realization of the "mission" of the Health Service of the Campania Region.
Through the acquisition of the UNIEN ISO 9001:2015 quality certification, it pursues continuous improvement of the quality of the services offered, through documented policies and procedures, guaranteeing users the provision of safe, effective and efficient healthcare services through the continuous development of Human Resources in terms of qualification, training, acquisition of the skills necessary to exercise specific responsibilities.
The applied Quality Management System, by promoting the exchange of information and the involvement of all Operators, allows the systematic pursuit, continuous monitoring and evaluation of the adequacy of the results obtained.
