In Mondragone, a 45-year-old man locked his partner in the condominium garage following an argument over trivial matters. Taking advantage of the fact that the woman was parking the car, he locked her in the garage, preventing her from leaving.
Thanks to the 112 report made by the victim's sister, the Carabinieri of the Territorial Department of Mondragone intervened and freed the woman. The man was arrested and will have to answer for mistreatment in the family.
According to the military's reconstruction, the fight began because the woman, having noticed the man's evident state of alteration due to alcohol abuse, had prevented him from driving home.
After they entered the garage to unload groceries, the man, in “retaliation” for the ban, lowered the garage door while the woman was parking, leaving her trapped inside. Despite the woman’s repeated attempts to get him to open the door, he ignored her requests and went off to walk his dog.
